LDM-F500IR Infrared Illumin LDM-F500IR Infrared Illuminator Laser Designator Product overview The LDM-F500IR Long Distance Laser Illuminator is a weapon mount or hand held focus illuminator light built for civilian, police and military use. The design integrates either a Infrared illuminator with a thumb controlled Linear Optical Collimator to create the ultimate lighting or illumination instrument. One thumb control quickly adjusts beam diameter and illumination intensity. The illumination beam may be collimated down and concentrated to cast an intense, highly visible beam of light able to be seen at distances up to 1 mile. The F-500IR can be used for targeting, signaling or search and rescue operations along with night vision viewing. The F-500IR can be adjusted so that opening the collimator more increases the diameter of the beam which can fully illuminate objects up to 500 yards or even a whole specific area for night vision viewing. The F-500IR Locator light utilizes a IR illuminator which operates at 832NM with a output life of up to 4 hours of continuous use. The LDM-F500IR works perfect for medium-long range applications because it uses a focusable laser that will go far beyond a flashlight or Infrared LED illuminators beam while still having the capability of pinpoint targeting laser. The Infrared beam will illuminate long range targets for fast acquiring. The LDM-F500IR is compatible with all NV sets. General Product Description The LDM-F500IR laser designator focus illuminator is designed and manufactured in a 852nm wavelength. Constructed from 6061-T6 Aluminum hard coated oxidation in a scratch resistant black color. The LDMF500 is manufactured so that the assembly is dust, dirt resistant, waterproof, shock tested to 10g's and is recoil / zero tested on a Barrett .50 cal M82A. Operating Temperatures Infrared illuminator 852nm: the LDM-F500IR Focus laser designator operates stable, safe, and reliable at low Temperatures -40 ℃ or -40°F far below freezing to its high Temperature of 85℃ 185° F (-40℃~ +85℃) (-40°F~ 185°F). Laser Dot Size Wide open iris: Maximum size of the laser dot is 3.2m(10.5') at 30m(100'). Closed iris 22mm(.75") at 30m(100'). The mount is designed with a lock screw so it will hold zero under heavy recoil. The mounts will fit a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny Rail. The mount will accept a 24.4mm and 30mm (1inch and 1.25 inch) tube. Battery Type The LDM-F500IR laser designators are manufactured for a CR18650 Rechargeable Lithium-ion battery Type. One CR18650 3.7 volt Ultra fire 3800mah (milliamp per hour), is included. Unit operation The LDM-F500IR are activated by a locking constant on-off switch as noted below. The unit can also be momentarily turned on-off by the remote pressure switch. USER CAUTION: When installing the pressure pad be aware of proper plug orientation improper installation will damage the unit and void the warranty.
