Belt, 14704 belt for Fox Vector 4170 (Genuine AMS, not a cheap copy)

(RGK-14704) Genuine American Sportworks/American Landmaster/Brister’s part. Don’t be misled by cheap Chinese copies — it’s the Chinese copying the Chinese, and the copies we’ve seen are not good. Belts are wear items; they are not covered by warranty. The authentic belt will have the green «ZHUPING» label on it, as displayed in our picture. The sides to this belt are not the same; one is angled 2.5 degrees, the other is 14 degrees. You cannot use a regular «V» belt — the design is different. It will tear up the belt and can damage your torque converter. Consult your manual for proper application. Fits Fox Vector 4170. This belt is directional. Install with the flat side against the flat side of the torque converter, and the angled side against the angled side of the torque converter. Installing the wrong direction will ruin it as soon as you hit the gas. If your current belt is worn and/or frayed, it’s worn out. If your belt looks like it has been chewed on, it’s possible you have a broken driven unit (the pulley on the jackshaft) that is the cause of the problem. If it is, it will destroy the new belt, as well. The driven unit will have to be replaced. Belts are a wear item and are not covered by warranty.
