The boards are handcrafted from 100% wood as they do not include any composite materials or plastics. The 4′ x 2′ size is made to ACA regulations. The top surface is 1/2″ varnished cabinet-grade plywood (ACA regulation), that provides the perfect amount of slide. The frames are handcrafted from solid pine, featuring mitered corner joints which are far superior to the shoddy construction of the ‘homemade style’ sets that simply have 2x4s sloppily nailed together. The wooden legs are retractable and are held in place by robust 3/8″ galvanized steel bolts with wing nuts. One of the greatest features of the GoSports set is we were able to engineer the weight of each set down to a manageable 38 pounds for the 4′ x 2′ without sacrificing gameplay. Compare that to the traditional ‘homemade style’ sets that weigh in at a backbreaking 60+ pounds! This weight savings means you will actually want to bring your cornhole game with you where ever you go. The set includes 8 regulation size all-weather cornhole bags which measure 6″ x 6″ and weigh 1 pound each and a robust carrying case. The bean bags are filled with recycled plastic pellets, but unlike corn, they will not rot if they get wet.

These pellets are clear, natrual virgin pellets which have never been used or processed. Weight is 5 oz. per cup of pellets. Perfect for cornhole bags, weighted blankets, stuffed animals and toys, eye spy bags, rock tumblers, and other crafts. These are NOT appropriate for bean bag chairs as the bulk density is way too high….unless you want a VERY heavy chair! The pellet geometry is consistent, resulting in a uniform and fluid pellet flow inside of the end product. The pellets are not «sticky», which can be a problem with some products. These pellets are hard and will not feel rubbery or soft to the touch. This is important also in order to allow the pellets to flow easily over one another. The pellets have a low coefficient of friction. This means that they are not «sticky» and slide easily over their surfaces with very little frictional forces. We will be offering a product which has the ultimate slip factor in the near future, so stay tuned!When considering a plastic pellet, be SURE you know what you are buying! These are VIRGIN plastic pellets without additives. This means that they have come directly from the reactor without any processing with no defects. They have NOT been recycled. While there are some cost advantages to recycled pellets (we will be offering these in the very near future also), the buyer needs to be very careful that they know what they are getting. Some of these pellets could come from sources which contain toxic or allergenic materials! If you are going to buy plastic pellets which have been recycled, PLEASE know where they came from and what they are designed to do. Rest assured that anything we sell with be guaranteed to be free of toxic materials and designed for the applications reported in our listings. These pellets are «natural» in color. You may see some variability in clarity of the pellet from one lot to the next, but each lot will be consistent. All will be excellent for the applications documented. None of these pellets will be pigmented or contain any additives. The melting point of these pellets is approx. 275 F. For this reason they will be fine in washing and drying applications.
