This kit WILL require 1 matching battery-MATCH WHAT YOU HAVEIf you open your box you will find 2 -12v 18ah batteries,most likely and thats what you want to order,simply search ebay.. Theres 3 ways you can do this,you can keep the battery box in place with the ability to remove just as it does now and put the 3rd up front.. Remove batteries from box and put all 3 in the back (thats how I send it if you dont send a note) You can also put a lithium pack in the back but it uses a different charger so you must get one from your lithium battery supplier and then send a note you dont need charger and ill refund $15 after the purchase. Each way requires the controller setup differently so please let me know how you want to do it. ALSO please choose a numbered # pic above for your throttle and send and «click ad» a note at checkout or it comes standard digital battery voltage readout in chrome with key. Thumb throttles do not come any other color and do not have matching grips, half twist is also only black but has matching grips. This custom performance kit,safely, jolts the motor with 36 volts to get it moving off the start while controlling the top rpm..It bypasses the factory rpm limiter of 3000 rpm and brings it to 4800 rpm which is still within the motors safe rpm range.. How hard is this to install? No modification to the lid is needed on 52 series Coolers Optional Brake light kit requires you to drill out 3 holes on the rear switch plate,then simply bolt in the housings,slide in the prewired LED lights and hot glue or super glue in place and plug into controller. Controller requires removing the old one,mount the new controller in front of the side vent and screw it into place with supplied screws..Ad ends to your brake switch,charger wires and then slide into color coded connectors then simply plug everything in.. Throttle requires removing alen head on throttle and sliding off the handle, remove 4 hard wires from connector with supplied screwdriver then fish the new wires threw and install new wires back into new connector with supplied color chart.. Battery install requires set up front and drill 2 holes between cooler for the wires and strap battery in place with bungy cord..Then simply connect the 2 color coded prefit battery wires..
