Likely an individual blacksmith who wanted to make ice axe, but there is an odd screw on head – haven’t seen before but in modern days a camera mount. Hand forged. Wood shaft. Unknown but has grain of mahogany. Straight. Shaft good condition. Moderate rusted patina on metal. Leah and stop correct. Antique axes hard to get nowadays. Don’t inquire on mine…they are being donated when I pass. Have one other axe listed.
