It is important to choose the correct size for your horse to get the optimum benefits from the SMB® 2XCool Boots. What you care about to determine the correct fit is the circumference measurement of the boot; it is more critical than the height because the boot must fit around the horse’s leg properly to be effective. The SMB® 2XCool Boots are available in small, medium and large. As a general rule, horses will use the same size on both the front and hind legs. For instance, many mature horses wear a size medium on the front and medium on the hind leg as well. However, in such instances where a horse may have pronounced size differences in the fetlocks, the horse may wear a smaller size in the front than in the rear, or vice-versa. Measuring is the only way to know for sure that you are getting the correct size. When measuring, be sure to measure around your horse’s fetlock as shown in the picture below.
