The low voltage cutoff is 30.5 volts and do not exceed 42volts for the people doing lipo.. The controller in the E300 was rated at 250 watts,24 volts..If you check the stock controller it actually puts out 22.3 volts to the motor (remember the motor will run off 12 volts but just not at full power and will run up to 36+volts-overvolted)..Our controller set-up puts out 38.5 volts to the motor at full throttle which is a huge boost..To put it simple,This controller is a very nice controller and you will have a big notice in gains from start to top speed! You must test your batteries with a multimeter,,It doesnt matter if they are new,show fully charged or if you ran the motor direct off the batteries,,that is not going to help determine if they are bad,the motor will run off a 9volt battery but the controller will not.. Each battery should put out 12.8-13.8,total..easily..Test it at the red and black wires going into the controller…If the batteries show less than 11v on each they are VERY weak and possibly dead and sometimes needs removed out of a series and charged separatly with a 2 amp battery charger. The brake switch could be bad so you must unplug the brake switch to bypass it,it will run without it hooked up. This kit will make you mx350 or mx400 50% faster and yes the supplied 3rd battery fits inside the existing case so it looks stock! Last pics show it installed and if you ad the speed reducer you can see it hidden up front also. The higher the AH you put in the longer it last. If your running lipo/lithium,drill batteries or whatever, the max output cant exceed 44 volts and the LVC is 31.5. and do not put 3 lifepo4 in series it wont work it will shut down under load due to too small of a bms in the battery.. The output is 500 watts unless you request 800 or 1000 watts which would be needed for a 500 watt motor swap or bigger.
