To assemble the trucks, the kingpin needs to first be fully loosened with a standard skate tool. Then insert the truck yoke into the pivot cup, and re-tighten the kingpin into the grooved hole. This makes it easier for you to use the baseplate to map out where the holes need to be drilled.
