12 strand single braid UHMwPE rope (same family as Dyneema (C) and Spectra (C)) with polyurethane coating for abrasion and UV resistance. This rope is a torque-free single braid that yields a maximum strength-to-weight ratio. With the same strength as steel wire rope of similar diameter, UHMwPE rope is an excellent replacement for wire rope. Diameter: 1/2" (12mm) Length: 125ft Tensile strength = 28000 lbs. Bundled - not on reel. Additionally, a specific gravity of 0.98 means that this rope floats. o Available colors: blue o Additional sizes and lengths available. o No thimble or protective sleeve. o Synthetic winch lines can be made to order.
